My name is Whitney, but my friends call me Whit if you'd like! If I'm going to be spending one of your most special days with you, I figured you should know who I am. I'm usually at home with my fiancé, snuggling with my 2 kitties, cooking, trying new restaurants, and traveling when I can! I grew up in a small-ish town 40 miles west of Chicago and I'm now located in Indianapolis, enjoying more time with my loved ones.
For me, my love of photography started at a very young age. I was always going around taking photos on my little pink digital camera of family + friends, and completely infatuated by my grandparents old photo albums. I became so in love with how photography holds the ability to freeze a single moment and preserve it forever; to be able to relive that moment just through the photo and remember the feelings attached to it. Losing my grandma really made me hold onto photos more and look at capturing things differently. That is called nostalgia, and it greatly influences my work.
No matter what milestone in life you are celebrating, whether it be your wedding day, an engagement, an anniversary, welcoming your first child, or just looking to capture the love that you and your family share - I would be honored to capture it . I strive to document love stories in a way that is romantic, candid, and most of all timeless.
It is an honor to capture love stories in a way that preserves them not only for today, but forever. I'm already so excited to meet you and learn more about your story.
